Prior to joining NEA - IndoUS Ventures, he was the co-founder of Bon Ami which worked very closely with early stage entrepreneurs in raising resources. Earlier he co-founded Creatnet Services Limited-a sourcing services and solutions company which was venture funded by ICICI ventures in 2000. Before 2000 he worked as an investment analyst with United Trustees -an investment trust. His experience ranges from investments in financial institutions, energy, technology applications, agriculture and retail sectors.

He graduated as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and did an executive program with ISB. With his experience in diverse sectors and geographies, understanding and relationships in Indian industry, he brings a unique combination of complementary skills and fresh perspective to projects and teams.
